TV-series: "New Scandinavian Cooking"

"New Scandinavian Cooking" was produced by the Norwegian production company Tellusworks AS during the New Nordic Food programme's first programme period. The series was first broadcasted in 2011. Since it was shown on prime time on all channels the programmes showed high viewing figures. Furthermore, the series received a great reception from an appreciative audience.

New Nordic Food I programme (2007-2009)

The New Nordic Food I programme has its roots in the Nordic food traditions, signified by its great variety in produce and between seasons. The cool climate, together with an abundance of light during the growing season, create produce of high quality and unique taste sensations. However, these qualities were practically unrecognised until recently, when Nordic chefs began to make their mark in international cooking competitions. The long thought processes, analyses and experiments in the restaurant kitchens resulted in the Nordic kitchen manifest, which was signed in 2004. The manifest became the starting point for the New Nordic Food programme, which was given political support via the Aarhus declaration in 2005. The year after, the three-year programme New Nordic Food I started.
