Welcome to the Norwegian table

The Norwegian Minister for Agriculture and Food, Lars Peder Brekk, is travelling round the country just now on the theme "Welcome to the table!", to generate debate. In a speech in Arendal, Brekk said, amongst other things: "The market decides. But, no matter what our diet looks like in 20 years, it is the government's clear goal that: we will take the same great responsibility for producing food for our own people. Even with a large growth in population self-sufficiency must be maintained. ..
