Panel debate - Food as a creative industry
New Nordic Food continues the discussion about creative food experiences as a separate creative industry and as a value creator for and with other creative industries. This time it was taking place during Copenhagen Food Fair 2013 and the new initiative STAGE, which amongst other things, had gathered some ten food designers to create innovation and give inspiration to the whole food industry, exhibitors and visitors. The session started with inspiration from Bompas & Parr (UK) and their Jelly installations, followed by I’m a KOMBO (DK) ans their NyDanskVand.
Participants in the panel included: Anna Hildur Hildibrandsdottir (IS), Director Nomex, Olav Harsløf (DK), Professor at RUC in Performance Design, Antto Melasniemi (FI), Kellohalli, Solar Kitchen, Hel Yes!, Nikolaj Danielsen (DK), Madeleines Madlab., Zonen for Madkultur, Lena Arndal (DK), Deputy Director at Center for Cultural and Experience Economy (CKO).
Moderator: Per Styregård (SE), journalist and promoter of Atelier Food.
