New Nordic Food annual report 2013
During the Swedish Presidency in 2013, the New Nordic Food II programme increased the extent of its activities with other partners.
The overall strategy towards the end of the programme period was to gradually reduce the engagements for which NNF II is the main organiser, and instead co-operate with other, national partners.
The objective of this was partly to ensure that the values that NNF II stands for (Nordic ingredients, taste, experience, etc.), and also the Nordic ideas of co-operation, were increasingly represented in national projects. The goal has also been to compensate for NNF II's percentage budget cut with funding from collaborative partners.
The result of this strategy has exceeded expectations, and in 2013 we were able to account for a large number of activities in several different areas that shared the concept of New Nordic Food and its potential.
