More taste with meal hosts

Tastier food, more choice and less waste. Now more hospitals are starting to discover the advantages of having food hosts on the wards. "They improve the whole dining experience", says Malin Andersson, nutrition director at Ängelholm Hospital. She is referring to the unbroken "meal chain" that has existed for several years between the chefs and the wards at the hospital. In each department there are several so-called food hosts who together cover most of the meals, on weekdays and at the weekend. They take care of all the food orders, lay the tables in the dining room, clear away and make sure that each patient is given the best possible service at mealtimes.
