Food Culture House on Bornholm

Bornholm will be the first place in Denmark to have a food culture house. Bornholm's Museum is the behind the development of a culinary meeting place at Melstedgård, Gudhjem in co-operation with Cluster Development Bornholm v/Vaeksthus Greater Copenhagen. The Bornholm food tradition is strong. "There are some very good products out there and there are some great eating places and chefs, which is an indication that the foundation is sound", says Jakob Bjerring Hansen. The Food Culture House will open in 2014 at a cost of DKK 4.1 million.
