Award for Hotel Arctic and Ipiutaq Guest Farm

The Greenland Co-operative Societies (Kalaallit Nunaanni Brugseni) have focused on Greenlandic food products this year when awarding the “Prize of the Year”. The prize is worth DKK 100,000 and was shared between the Hotel Arctic in Ilulissat and Ipiutaq Guest Farm in South Greenland. Hotel Artic won the prize for the extensive work the hotel has done in developing Greenlandic cuisine, local ingredients and the inspiration chef Jeppe Nielsen has given to chefs and ordinary Greenlandic households. The sheep breeder couple Agathe Devisme and Kalista Poulsen are role models for innovative agritourism at their Ipiutaq Guest Farm.
